Murat is the owner and operator of Ora Hair Salon, with over 30 years of experience in the hair industry. He immigrated to Canada from Turkey at the age of 18, driven by his ambition to create a better life. In addition to being a full-time hairdresser, Murat is a dedicated husband and father. His two daughters, both graduates of South Delta Secondary School, are now attending Carleton University in Ottawa, with his eldest daughter set to graduate in June 2025.

Got my hair done at Ora for the first time yesterday. I have zero complaints. The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. I was given refreshments during my appointment and conversations were great. I got a big change done to my hair and I’m glad I got it done at this salon. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
Bright, conveniently located place with plenty parking around. I had a hair cut done by Murat and was wonderful. He is attentive, professional. I left with not just an amazing hair cut, but plesant experience overall and looking forward coming back in a couple month.
